Setting your wedding date is typically the very first thing you will do once you get engaged and it’s a good idea to take these things into consideration when you do. If you are set on getting married at a certain place or having your reception at a certain venue be sure to check as soon as possible if they have the date you want available.
Here are 10 tips to consider when choosing your date for your special day:
- Season - Are you looking at getting married indoors or outdoors? In the mountains, on the beach, in a banquet hall? Consider the style of wedding you want to have and the right season for it.
- Budget - Did you know that it's more expensive to marry in June than in November? If you're tight on your budget, consider getting married in the off season. Also look at the day of week you choose. Saturdays are typically the most expensive day of the week to marry on, while Friday and Sunday are less expensive.
- Photographer Availability - If you are looking to work with a popular wedding photographer our recommendation would be to contact them as soon as possible to check their availability.
