Morgans Restaurant and Wine Bar has switched up our craft brew tap. Over the past few months we featured "Destiny IPA" from Fuggles and Warlock Craftworks. Our newest feature is the "Bean Me Up" Espresso Milk Stout from this amazing duo.
Touted as the "Beer Geeks Breakfast?" This is the perfect marriage of espresso coffee and a delicate stout with a smooth creamy sweetness from lactose. Featuring organic Metta Espresso coffee from Salt Spring Coffee in Richmond, BC. Rated 24 IBU. "Bean Me Up" was also the bronze metal winner in the 2014 BC Beer Awards.
Not only do we offer Fuggles and Warlock on tap, we also serve it three ways in bottles. Now featuring:
- Personas - Our take on the California Common (An amber lager with a special yeast designed to be brewed at ale temperature) is what we call a "West Coast Common": A slightly fruity and smooth malt base and an explosion of west coast aroma hops without the bitterness of an IPA. Featuring Citra, Galexy Helga, Topaz, and Amarillo hops. Rated 30 IBU.
- Destiny IPA - Rated 62 IBU this IPA is described as a light, easy going malt profile with delicate hop aromas of mandarin oranges, grapefruit and passionfruit that will launch your taste buds into the cosmos. Features Galaxy, Ella, Wakatu, Topaz, Amarillo, Cascade and Citra Hops.
- The Last Strawberry - Rated 8 IBU this is a refreshing Belgin Wit brewed with fresh strawberries and sweetened with lactose. Delicatley sweet and slightly tart.
