Learn How to Score Better with Leila
A lot of the time people are hesitant to take a golf lesson because they think they will have to learn how to swing the club again. Lessons don’t have to be about technique. In fact I wish I could go see every one of my students play a few holes before we have our first lesson.
Do you know where you are losing most of your stokes?
Here is an easy way to keep track of your statistics. When you can break your game down into fairways, greens, and putts you will have the ability to identify the part of your game you can really save strokes.
Here’s how I keep my stats.
Fairway:
✅ - hit the fairway
R- missed right
L - missed left
R- missed right
L - missed left
Greens:
✅ hit the green outside 15 feet
✅✅ hit the green inside 15 feet
R- missed the green right
L- missed the green left
O- missed the green long
S- missed the green short
N/A- I didn’t have the chance to hit the green in regulation.
Putts- the number of putts only on the putting surface. Does not include the fringe.

If you take down these simple stats each time you play you can walk into a lesson knowing what you really need to work on to lower your scores. Most of the time it’s short game!!
